The Role – Director of Finance
As Director of Finance, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for ensuring financial efficiency and strategic alignment across the business. This role will involve... What You’ll Be Doing
- The financial strategy and long-term financial planning
- Safeguards the business from financial, operational, and financial compliance risk
- Owns financial reporting, controls, compliance, tax, and audit readiness
- Manages cash flow, liquidity, funding, and capital allocation
- Provides financial insight to support strategic business decisions
- Drives profitability, performance management, and sustainable growth
- Owns the year-end process, statutory accounts, audit relationship and Companies House filings across all group entities; ensure timely, accurate statutory reporting.
- Responsible for corporation tax and VAT — including the agent-versus-principal treatment of utility and ancillary supplies, and management of any historic exposure. Coordinate external tax advisers as required.
- Acquisition financial due diligence
- Integration of acquired entities' finances
- Funding/banking relationships
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who:
- Proven experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably within property, lettings, or a related service sector.
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities with experience managing finance teams.
- Track record of successfully implementing financial systems and driving business performance.
- High-level communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable working at board level and presenting business-critical financial updates.

Details & Salary:
- Hours of work: 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, inclusive of an unpaid lunch break of 60 minutes each day,
- 40 hours per week
- 70k
Pay: £70,000.00 per year
