In-Store Brand Ambassador at Goose & Gander Padstow - New Store Opening
Not your average retail gig. As a Goose & Gander In-Store Brand Ambassador, you’re the face of the brand on the shop floor, building community, growing sign-ups, creating buzz, and helping customers find pieces they love. You’ll gain real marketing experience while bringing our vision to life in-store.
What you’ll do
Be the brand
- Start conversations, share the G&G story, and build genuine relationships with customers.
- Deliver friendly, knowledgeable, and authentic service that feels like us (never salesy).
Grow the community
- Drive email/newsletter sign-ups and loyalty opt-ins on the shop floor.
- Encourage social follows and UGC (with permission), and spotlight our latest drops and campaigns.
- Gather quick customer insights/feedback and pass them to the team.
Style & sell
- Offer styling tips and product advice; turn browsers into buyers while keeping the vibe positive.
- Maintain strong knowledge of current collections, restocks, sizes/fit, and online exclusives.
- Support store targets through great service, add-ons, and simple, helpful recommendations.
Make it look G&G
- Support visual merchandising to reflect the Goose & Gander aesthetic.
- Replenish stock and maintain presentation standards across the shop floor and fitting rooms.
Keep things running smoothly
- Assist with deliveries, stockroom organisation, and stock takes.
- Follow cash handling and till procedures accurately.
- Keep the environment clean, tidy, and safe at all times.

- Quality conversations started & email sign-ups captured
- Conversion and basket add-ons from styling advice
- Social engagement/UGC moments initiated in-store (with permission)
- VM standards upheld and stock availability maintained
- Positive customer feedback and smooth day-to-day ops

Requirements
- 1+ year retail experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible to work weekends and bank holidays as required
