Role: Senior Procurement Specialist
Location: Sheffield
Contract: Permanent
Rate: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum + excellent benefits (30 days AL, 15% employer pension etc)
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector organisation in Sheffield, to recruit a Senior Procurement Specialist on a permanent basis.
Castlefield Recruitment have partnered closely with this organisation over the last 18 months, recruiting a range of roles due to growth of the function and this role is no different.
This organisation operates a hybrid working policy, requiring 2 days per week in their Sheffield based office, which is a 15-minute walk from the train station.
The Role:
- Lead on complex, high value public procurement activity across the professional services category area (IT, Consultancy, Legal, Marketing etc)
- Provide expert commercial advice whilst delivering value for money and supporting both internal and external stakeholders
- Produce procurement strategies, lead market engagement and tender activity and provide commercial challenge whilst adhering to the rules and regulations
The Person:
- Extensive experience running procurements in the Public Sector
- Understanding and knowledge of PA23/PCR2015
- Able to operate in a fast-moving environment
Pay: £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
