Artisan Plastercraft is part of the Goodwood Interiors Group, specialising in high-quality, expertly crafted interior finishes for builders, architects, and heritage projects. We’re looking for a motivated and organised Sales & Estimating Assistant to join our friendly team in our bright, purpose-built office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with admin or customer service experience who wants to build a career in sales or estimating within the construction and interiors sector. An interest in architecture, design, or the built environment would be a big advantage.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be the first point of contact for customers and provide vital support to the Sales Manager and Estimating team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Customer & Sales Support
- Handling inbound calls and email enquiries professionally and promptly
- Managing e-commerce orders and keeping customers, manufacturing, and delivery teams updated
- Responding to quote requests and preparing information for the estimating team
Estimating & Project Support
- Reviewing enquiries and gathering all necessary details (drawings, specifications, site visit requirements, etc.)
- Setting up project folders and chasing missing information
- Arranging site visits and logging them in the diary and CRM
- Managing sample requests – sourcing, packing, and dispatching materials with professional cover letters
Administration & Team Support
- Updating and maintaining our CRM system (Accelo)
- Assisting with monthly reports and ad-hoc marketing/office tasks
- Working closely with Sales, Estimating, Marketing, and senior management
- Assisting with Pre Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) for new Customers
What we’re looking for
- At least 1 year’s administrative experience (essential)
- Customer service experience (preferred)
- Excellent phone and written communication skills
- Strong organisation and time-management abilities
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile
- Computer literate with good attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence and ability to commute to Keston
Previous experience in construction, interiors, or estimating is advantageous but not essential – we value attitude and potential highly.
