Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Web Design & Development: Lead the process from wireframes and visual mockups to performant, responsive front-end code.
- UI/UX Excellence: Maintain visual brand standards while prioritizing accessibility (WCAG) and seamless user navigation across all modern web browsers and devices.
- Code & Component Optimization: Write clean, modular, and performant HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JavaScript (ES6+) that integrates smoothly with back-end architectures.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with digital strategists, backend engineers, and project managers to translate client requirements into robust web products.
- Performance & Accessibility Testing: Test, debug, and optimize interfaces to guarantee maximum speed, security, and responsive performance.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: Proven experience operating at the intersection of Front-End Web Development and UI/UX Design.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing live web builds, case studies, and responsive design systems is essential. Show us the problem, your design process, and the final functional output.
- Technical & Design Tooling: High proficiency in HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, and design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop. Familiarity with modern JS frameworks (React or Vue) is a strong plus.
- Standards & SEO: Solid understanding of web accessibility guidelines (WCAG), responsive design principles, and modern SEO best practices.
- Mindset: Pragmatic and details-driven. You hold a sharp eye for layout, grid systems, and visual balance while understanding how to ship clean, scalable code on time.
Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
