Join Our Incredible Team at Bryn Tirion Hall School!
Have you ever had someone in your life who truly believed in you—who helped you realise your potential? At Bryn Tirion Hall School, we believe every child deserves someone like that. Could that person be you?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team. We work with pupils aged 7+, many of whom have experienced challenges in their previous educational settings. We provide a nurturing, therapeutic learning environment where relationships, trust, and emotional safety come first.
Our pupils are full of potential—but they need adults who see beyond the behaviours to the individual child. Every day brings new opportunities to build confidence, unlock potential, and make a difference that lasts a lifetime.
We are looking for a HLTA (Teaching and Learning) who will work in partnership with teaching staff to improve the quality of learning across the school. The role includes delivering planned lesson cover, modelling effective classroom practice, providing targeted academic interventions, and supporting pupils to engage successfully in learning.
We Offer:
- A permanent, term-time only position (40 hours/week, 39 weeks) with competitive pay (Points 26–31: £25,912–£30,255)
- A supportive team of colleagues who care deeply for each other and our pupils
- A school culture that values staff wellbeing, personal growth, and reflective practice
- High-quality professional development tailored to your role and ambitions
- An opportunity to be part of something truly meaningful
- Employee assistance programme
Benefits:
- Company events
- Company pension
- Lunch included
- Free flu jabs
- Free parking
- Life insurance
- On-site parking
At Bryn Tirion Hall School, we believe in fresh starts and new opportunities. Many of our pupils have never experienced a positive, nurturing educational environment before coming to us. You can be part of the change that redefines school for them—helping them believe in their abilities, take ownership of their learning, and thrive.
We are incredibly proud of what our young people achieve—and we are just as proud of the incredible staff who walk alongside them on that journey.
