We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician to join our vibrant beauty salon. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional nail services and enhancing clients' overall experience. Responsibilities
- Providing expert nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and nail art
- Assisting clients with personalised consultations to recommend suitable services and colour choices
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic work station in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Managing appointment schedules efficiently to optimise client flow
- Upselling additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, or deep tissue massage where appropriate
- Engaging with clients to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable experience
- Managing social media accounts to promote salon services, special offers, and showcase work
- Handling front desk duties including greeting guests, booking appointments, and processing payments
- Supporting the team with guest services to ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Participating in ongoing training programmes to stay updated with industry trends and techniques
Skills
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role within the beauty industry
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients effectively
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Experience in management or team leadership is desirable
- Proficiency in social media management for promotional purposes
- Knowledge of eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other beauty treatments such as deep tissue massage is advantageous
- Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining client trust
- Experience in hospitality or guest services is beneficial
- Good organisational skills to manage appointments and maintain cleanliness standards
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating strong individual initiative
