We are a friendly, busy, modern mixed NHS, Private and Denplan dental practice located in Solihull Town Centre, committed to providing high-quality patient care in a calm and professional environment. We're looking for a motivated and organised Dental Receptionist to join our supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and creating a warm, professional first impression
- Managing appointments and recalls using dental software SOE/Exact
- Answering calls, responding to emails, and handling patient queries
- Processing payments, invoices, and insurance forms
- Supporting clinical staff with administrative tasks
- Ensuring patient confidentiality and compliance with CQC standards
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised reception area
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist desirable
- As a minimum, Healthcare Receptionist experience required (mandatory)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer literacy and experience with booking software
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- A friendly, calm, and professional manner with patients
- Knowledge of SOE, Exact, or similar dental software would be beneficial

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Solihull B91: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
- Healthcare receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
