Service & Installation Labourer
Storth Limited is a well-established, family-owned manufacturer of innovative slurry handling equipment, proudly supporting the agricultural industry since 1999. Over the years we've grown from a local manufacturer into a trusted supplier with customers across the UK and around the world.
We're looking for a motivated Service & Installation Labourer to join our close-knit engineering team. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll travel to farms across the UK, helping to install new slurry systems, service existing equipment and solve real-world challenges alongside experienced engineers.
If you enjoy working outdoors, travelling to different locations, learning practical skills and seeing the results of your work, this could be the role for you.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting our engineers with the installation, servicing and maintenance of slurry handling equipment.
- Working with a wide range of tools and equipment while developing valuable engineering and practical skills.
- Assisting with lifting and moving equipment safely (full training provided).
- Working as part of a friendly, supportive team while also taking responsibility for tasks independently.
- Delivering high-quality work with attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Travelling to customer sites throughout the UK, with occasional overnight stays.
- Providing additional support from our Head Office when required, helping different teams across the business.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is:
- Practical, hardworking and eager to learn.
- Flexible and happy to work in a varied role.
- A strong team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions.
- Safety-conscious with a positive attitude.
- Willing to travel and stay away from home when required.
- In possession of a clean driving licence (preferred), as you may occasionally drive company vehicles.
What we offer
- A varied role with opportunities to learn new skills every day.
- The chance to work across the UK with an experienced engineering team.
- Company transport to and from job sites.
- Accommodation and evening meals provided for overnight stays.
- Overnight and inconvenience allowances when working away from home.
- The opportunity to build a long-term career with a respected, family-owned business that values its people.
If you're looking for a role that's active, rewarding, and offers more variety than a typical workshop or warehouse job, we'd love to hear from you.
