Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and responsible After School Care Pick Up Driver to join our team! In this energetic role, you will ensure the safe and timely transportation of children from school to the after-school care . Your enthusiasm, reliability, and strong driving skills will help create a positive experience for children and their families. Responsibilities
- Safely pick up children from designated schools at 3pm each afternoon.
- Ensure the well-being of children during transit by following safety protocols and maintaining a child-friendly environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff to confirm pick-up details and address any special needs or instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring it is in excellent working condition at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe transportation at all times.
- Keep accurate records of pick-up times, routes taken, and any incidents or concerns during transit.
- Assist with light supervision or engagement activities with children during transport when appropriate.
Skills
- Proven experience in driving, with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus for bilingual families.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to transporting children and vehicle maintenance.
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to children's needs during transit.
Essentials
- Clean UK driving licence.
- Satisfactory PVG Scheme membership (or willingness to join).
- No criminal convictions that would prevent working with children.
- Right to work in the UK.
