Overview
We’re looking for motivated individuals who can provide high quality goods in an efficient manor that is reliable, and enjoy hands-on roles working with tools.
We are initially offering a 1 month contract which maybe extended depending on business needs.
Specific Tasks:
Assembly
1. To assemble and pack products as instructed by Supervisor/Manager
Stores
2. To organise the movement of stock as instructed by Supervisor/Manager
Metal Work
3. To undertake metal-working duties, as instructed by Supervisor/Manager.
Control Panels
4. To assist with the wiring and building of control panels as instructed by Supervisor/Manager.
Production - General
5. To use equipment and carry out production procedures in accordance with company policy and quality standards.
6. Maintain a good work rate as well as high quality.
7. To inspect product according to established standards and procedures.
8. Report any concerns about product defects or workshop machinery.
9. Ensure work area is kept safe and tidy.
10. Keep accurate production records as required.
11. Driving Company van/truck for collections and deliveries as required.
12. Taking on building & maintenance tasks as required.
13. Responsible for adhering to company Health and Safety procedures and have a day-to-day awareness and reporting of Health & Safety issues within the workplace.
14. Responsible for following and contributing to all IMS procedures relevant to the department.
15. Other duties as required by Manager.
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience or manufacturing background is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Electrical assembly experience preferred but not required
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, or similar equipment is a plus.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work efficiently in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
Pay: £12.71-£13.45 per hour
Expected hours: 37.0 per week
