Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the premises and the Hotel rooms, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Previous experience in hospitality or janitorial services is highly desirable. Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces according to company standards
- Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas are tidy and welcoming
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain cleaning schedules and record completed tasks accurately
- Assist with laundry duties as required
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within designated timeframes
- Assist Front of House with Breakfast duties
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for this role
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is advantageous
