We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to join a busy student accommodation site in St Andrews.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous housekeeping or cleaning experience looking for stable, full-time hours working Monday to Friday.
The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the student accommodation, ensuring communal areas and accommodation spaces are clean, presentable and well maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining communal areas throughout the accommodation
- Cleaning rooms and other areas as required
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and general cleaning
- Cleaning kitchens and shared facilities
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damage
- Ensuring cleaning equipment and supplies are used correctly
- Working efficiently to complete daily cleaning schedules
Requirements
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Professional and approachable manner
