Duties
- Support residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, respecting their dignity and preferences
- Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques to promote independence and safety
- Help implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each person’s needs and preferences
- Maintain clear communication with team members, residents, and family members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to protocols
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration to promote good nutrition and wellbeing
- Keep accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in residents’ conditions
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Valid driving license is advantageous for roles involving home visits or transportation of clients
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members
- Basic IT skills for documentation and updating electronic care records accurately
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and procedures diligently
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with those you support
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts as needed

Pay: £25,420.00-£35,797.69 per year
