QEY Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected care provider to recruit an experienced Nursing Home Manager for one of their large nursing homes located just 20 minutes from Belfast.

We're looking for an experienced Nursing Home Manager who is confident managing a large service, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has the leadership skills to drive quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
The Role
As Nursing Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and management of the home, ensuring residents receive the highest standard of person-centred care while maintaining full compliance with RQIA standards.
You will lead, inspire and support your team to create a positive culture where residents, families and staff feel valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall operation of a large nursing home
- Ensure exceptional standards of person-centred care are consistently delivered
- Maintain full compliance with RQIA regulations and company policies
- Lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team
- Manage occupancy, budgets and financial performance
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Build strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders
- Ensure safe staffing levels and effective workforce planning
- Promote a positive culture focused on dignity, respect and excellence
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Essential
- Previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager or in a similar senior leadership role within a large nursing home
- Current NMC Registration (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
- Strong knowledge of RQIA regulations and healthcare legislation
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Experience managing budgets and operational performance
- A proven track record of achieving high-quality care standards
- Outstanding communication and organisational skills
Desirable
- Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience leading services rated highly by RQIA
- Experience managing large staff teams
