Employment Contract: Monday to Friday (Term time / 39 weeks)
Hours: 35 Hours a week
Responsibilities of the post:
- Develop and implement targeted interventions based on individual student needs.
- Provide specialist guidance and strategies to support SEND students in the classroom.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, adapting interventions as needed.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to plan and differentiate lessons.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to EHCP reviews and student progress meetings.
- Support the transition of students between different phases of education.
- Provide professional guidance to junior support staff and share best practices.
- Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals regarding student progress and needs.
- Oversee a small group of students on the engage pathway, ensuring their learning needs are met.
- Develop plans that support the transition of students into the school, focusing on engagement, attendance, and fostering a love of learning.
- Administer assessments that help develop individually tailored packages of support.
- Plan creative, physical, and practical activities that embed key skills in maths, English, and communication.
General Duties:
- Support, uphold and contribute to the development of ES policies and procedures.
- Provide timely responses to emails or requests for information from the wider team and SLT.
- Manage your online calendar and ensure important deadlines are met, seeking support where required.
· Commitment to your own continuous professional development (CPD).
· Take an active part in appraising own work as part of the annual appraisal process.
· Attend company training days, team building, INSET Days and meetings as required.
· Be willing to travel sporadically between sites.
· Attend ES Team Awards ceremony held annually each December.
· Access 1:1 coaching and support from your line manager.

· Other reasonable duties may be allocated from time to time commensurate with the general character of the post and its grading.
