We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist primary setting in Bushey, working with pupils in Years 3-6 to help them achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
This is a full-time position starting in September, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am-3:30pm.

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities.

Support pupils with communication, sensory learning, personal care, and physical needs.

Deliver engaging, personalised learning activities tailored to individual EHCP targets.

Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to meet each pupil's needs.

Follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
Essential
-
Previous SEND experience (minimum 3 months).

Experience supporting children or young people with complex needs, PMLD, or severe learning difficulties.

An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.

Right to work in the UK.
Desirable

Experience working within a special school or specialist provision.

Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or a Bachelor's Degree.

Experience using alternative communication methods such as Makaton, PECS, or AAC.
