Paskals Day Nursery are looking to recruit enthusiastic, caring and compassionate Early Years Practitioners to join our fun, energetic and highly motivated family!
We are a busy day nursery looking for someone who is used to a fast-paced nursery environment.
This is an ideal role for someone who is able to work independently and has a real ability to instil confidence to all children and parents/carers at the nursery as well as working as part of a fun and experienced team
YOU ARE/HAVE…
- Qualified to Level 3 Childcare
- Experienced in providing high-quality childcare for children aged 2 – 4 years ideally in a nursery, with some knowledge of health and safety
- Experienced in working with children with SEND
- Able to connect with children, co-workers and parents alike; provide stimulating indoor and outdoor activities;
- Just like us; passionate about helping children grow to the best of their ability…and having a whale of a time doing so!
- A sense of humour and fun!
- A love of outdoors- our children love to play in our outdoor area and so do we!... All weathers!
Ongoing continuous professional development is actively encouraged. Successful appointments will be subject to relevant Safer Recruitment checks including: identity; references; DBS; training and qualifications.
First aid and safeguarding certificates are desirable although this can be done through nursery for the right candidate.
Your qualifications and experience:
- NNEB or BTEC Nat Dip or CACHE Dip in Childcare or NVQ level 3
- Passion to deliver high quality childcare and exciting learning opportunities.
- Experience working in a busy day nursery environment and adaptable to ensure all children's needs are met.
- Experience in working with children with SEN- in house mentoring will be provided.
Start date: September 2026- subject to two satisfactory references and DBS check. One reference must be from your most recent employer.

- Laurel Terrace- Balby site, TERM TIME ONLY
- We are open between the hours of 7:30am-5:00pm and so you may be required to work a 7:30am start/5:00pm finish.
- Please note all holidays are to be taken during the school holidays for our term time only posts. Your pay will be stretched over 52 weeks of the year, therefore you will receive a pay during the school holidays.
