Carb’n-Off Ltd, leading specialists in the delivery of grease extract and kitchen deep cleaning of industrial and commercial kitchens, are looking for an organised and proactive Scheduler to join our busy team in Wokingham.
You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining an efficient, achievable schedule for our field-based engineers, where the key focus is the right engineer, at the right job, at the right time
Working closely with our Bookings and Operations Teams, you'll manage the forward schedule, allocate work based on engineer skills, location and availability, plan efficient routes and quickly re-plan when things change.
Key Responsibilities
· Take ownership of all aspects of scheduling, from identifying due works through to allocating and maintaining the future schedule.
· Plan and maintain forward schedules, using BigChange and Excel.
· Gather and review information on upcoming and due jobs, ensuring all required works are captured within the schedule and no jobs are missed.
· Regularly check customer portals, PPM schedules and internal systems for new, upcoming or outstanding works and ensure these are reflected in the schedule.
· Allocate jobs based on skills, location, availability and job requirements.
· Maximise engineer productivity and minimise gaps and unnecessary travel.
· Monitor future workload and identify scheduling or capacity issues early.
· Re-plan cancelled or postponed work to minimise lost capacity.
· Work closely with Operations, engineers and the support team.
· Look for ways to improve the efficiency of our planning processes.
About You

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change.
· Confident using Excel and computerised systems.
· A strong communicator and problem solver.
· Geographically aware and able to plan efficient journeys.
Previous experience in planning, scheduling, logistics, resource coordination or field service would be an advantage. Use of BigChange or similar Job Management Software is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
