Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sprayer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying coatings and finishes to various products, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the process. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for spraying by cleaning, sanding, or masking as required
- Operate spray equipment safely and efficiently to apply coatings, paints, or finishes to products or surfaces
- Set up and calibrate spray guns and other tools to ensure proper application
- Maintain and clean spray equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist with minor fabrication or assembly tasks as needed
- Work within specified timeframes to meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards
- Document work activities accurately and report any issues or defects promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, and general shop facilitation processes
- Knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to spray application equipment
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during setup and application processes
- Previous warehouse experience or construction painting background is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality assurance
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle materials or equipment safely
