About the Role
Teloneer Communications is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize telecommunications infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and a commitment to network reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement telecommunications systems and infrastructure.
- Configure, test, and maintain network and communications equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex connectivity and service issues.
- Monitor network performance, reliability, and capacity.
- Support telecommunications upgrades and infrastructure projects.
- Develop technical documentation and system specifications.
- Ensure systems meet security, performance, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional experience in telecommunications engineering.
- Strong knowledge of networking, communications infrastructure, and protocols.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
- Strong understanding of network security and performance monitoring.
- Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
