We are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our team in Dunfermline, supporting the smooth running of customer orders from receipt through to delivery.
You’ll begin by building a strong foundation in order processing, systems, and product knowledge. As your confidence grows, you’ll develop into handling customer queries, resolving issues, and taking ownership of customer relationships.
It’s a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, organisation and clear communication are key.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately process customer orders within agreed deadlines
Ensure all orders are prepared correctly for dispatch
Communicate any stock or delivery issues clearly and professionally
Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment
Maintain high standards of customer service at all times
Day-to-Day Activities
Reviewing and processing orders with attention to detail
Checking delivery dates and ensuring accuracy of information
Managing stock allocation and highlighting shortages
Updating orders with relevant notes and customer information
Communicating out-of-stock items and alternatives
Supporting delivery bookings and customer requirements
As you develop in the role, you will also:
Handle customer queries via phone and email
Take ownership of issues relating to orders and deliveries
Build strong working relationships with customers
Support problem-solving across the wider operation
Working With
You’ll work closely with internal teams including:
Transport
Warehouse
Purchasing
Building these relationships will help you confidently support customers and resolve queries.

Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working with systems and processes
Clear and professional communicator (written and verbal)
