We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service in a lively environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided to the right candidate. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer opportunities for personal development within the hospitality sector. All applicants must have fully flexibility at weekends
Responsibilities
- Serve a variety of beverages efficiently and responsibly to customers
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments with precision
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the start and end of shifts
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments is desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Effective time management to ensure prompt service even during peak hours
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and hospitality standards
