Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Packing Associate to join our dynamic warehouse team. Responsibilities
- Carefully pack products according to specified standards, ensuring protection during transit
- Load and unload materials using forklifts and other handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movement and update records accurately
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying shipments against orders and documentation
- Handle materials with precision, utilizing proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Collaborate with team members to organize storage areas and optimize workflow processes
- Perform routine mechanical checks on equipment such as forklifts to ensure safe operation
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or similar setting is preferred
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklift machinery confidently
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and data entry
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Construction or materials handling experience is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and excellent teamwork skills
