An exciting opportunity has opened at The Pantry for a part-time catering assistant.
You will be joining a team that prides itself on high-quality food and beverages, along with exceptional customer service.
- Typical Schedule: 3/4 shifts per week (weekdays & Saturdays), with the opportunity to work additional hours to help cover staff holidays. Determined by weekly roster. (We are closed Sundays and Mondays).
- Role would suit somebody needing to work around school hours if required
- Permanent position
The role:
- Greeting and serving customers in a warm and professional manner
- Taking customer orders and processing payments
- Preparing and serving drinks and light food items under our new 2026 Pantry format
- Providing excellent table service
- Clearing and resetting tables
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the café
- Supporting general housekeeping duties including washing up, cleaning work areas, and keeping front and back of house tidy
- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
You should:
- Enjoy what you're doing and be interested in further developing your skills
- Have a positive can-do attitude
- Be able to multitask and cope well under pressure
