Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of workstations and equipment
- Help with food storage, labeling, and inventory management to ensure freshness and safety
- Follow food safety guidelines diligently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Serve meals or ingredients as directed by senior kitchen staff or catering supervisors
- Support catering events by setting up serving stations, replenishing supplies, and clearing after service
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and working collaboratively with kitchen staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices
- Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety standards, and serving procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and a proactive approach to tasks
- Culinary experience or relevant kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
