- Digital Tachograph Card
- Driver CPC
- Full UK driving licence (endorsed with no more than 6 penalty points) no DD, DR or IN
- Must have held relevant licence for a minimum 2 years
- Good geographical knowledge of the whole of the U.K.
- Very good spoken English and excellent communication skills
- Able to work as a team player
- Ability to work under pressure and within prompt delivery deadlines
- Honesty and Punctuality
- You will be required to do nights out up to 4 per week with the option to come back to the yard should the opportunity arises
- Knowledge in general haulage an advantage
- This job is not a trunking job so you will be required to assist with loading/unloading
Responsibilities
- Collecting and delivering various consignments across the whole of the UK
- Completing deliveries within strict time constraint
- Courtesy to the customer at all time
- Communication with office staff regularly throughout the day
Benefits
- You will be paid £1000 for 5 day week (Mon-Fri) PAYE, with opportunity for overtime by working Saturday or Sunday if required.
- Night Out Rate is £27 per night (non taxable), additional payment to the day rate
