THERMAL INSULATION ENGINEER (LAGGER) – SHOTTON MILL, DEESIDE
Four Chambers Recruitment are currently recruiting for 1 experienced Thermal Insulation Engineer (TIE) / Lagger to work on a long-term industrial project at Shotton Mill, Deeside.
Pay:
- £25.00 per hour – Basic rate (first 40 hours)
- £32.50 per hour – Overtime
- 10-hour shifts
- Overtime paid after 40 hours
- Equivalent to £265 per day
- Weekly CIS/UTR payment
Location: Shotton Mill, Deeside
Start Date: 7th September 2026
Duration: Minimum 4 months, with potential to continue into 2027
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Thermal Insulation Engineer / Lagger
- TICA Card, CSCS or recognised equivalent qualification/card
- Experience working on industrial insulation projects
- UK Right to Work
- Able to provide suitable references
- Good understanding of site health & safety requirements
- Reliable and able to commit to a long-term project
DUTIES
Duties will include:
- Heating and ventilation insulation
- Thermal insulation installation
- Lagging and associated insulation works
- Working from drawings/specifications where required
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety
- Carrying out other similar duties as directed by site management
SSSTS SUPERVISOR – ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITY
If you also hold a valid SSSTS qualification and have previous supervisory experience, there is another opportunity available on this project.
