We partner with some of the world’s most iconic fashion houses, including Jimmy Choo, Burberry, Celine, and Bulgari, and operate in prestigious locations such as Selfridges Oxford Street.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Pricing & Authentication Specialist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop specialist expertise within the luxury pre-owned market, learning how to accurately authenticate and value some of the world's most prestigious handbag and small leather goods brands.
Working closely with the Pricing & Authentication Manager, you will support the acquisition of stock by providing competitive valuations, learning industry-leading authentication techniques, and delivering an exceptional customer experience across both digital and in-person channels. Through structured training, you will develop the skills required to become an expert in luxury authentication while contributing to the commercial success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn to authenticate luxury handbags and small leather goods from leading designer brands using both digital imagery and physical inspection.
- Provide accurate valuation quotes for customer items, balancing market demand, brand performance, condition and resale potential.
- Support the delivery of competitive pricing strategies to maximise acquisition volumes while protecting business margins.
- Assist in achieving acquisition conversion targets by providing timely, accurate and commercially competitive valuations.
- Build knowledge of luxury brands, materials, craftsmanship, serial numbers, hardware, date codes and authentication characteristics.
- Keep up to date with market trends, resale values and changes within the luxury fashion industry.
- Support the Pricing & Authentication Manager in achieving departmental KPIs, including quote turnaround times, acquisition rates, authentication accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with Customer Experience, Logistics, Merchandising and Buying teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Assist with resolving authentication queries and supporting quality assurance processes.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of pricing models, authentication procedures and internal documentation.

- Confident using Microsoft Office and digital systems.
Desirable
- Previous experience in luxury retail, fashion, ecommerce or resale.
- Knowledge of luxury designer brands and current fashion trends.
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
- Interest in authentication, resale or circular fashion.
