Bespoke Career Solutions is recruiting experienced Vehicle Body Builders for a well-established manufacturing company based in Aldridge, Walsall.
This is an excellent Temp to Perm opportunity for candidates with experience in vehicle bodybuilding, commercial vehicle assembly, coachbuilding or a similar manufacturing environment. Pay ranges from £12.71 to £15.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
About the Role
As a Vehicle Body Builder, you will manufacture, assemble and fit commercial vehicle bodies and associated components to the required specifications. You will work from technical drawings and build instructions while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and assemble commercial vehicle bodies
- Fit panels, frames, floors and associated components
- Read and work from technical drawings and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely
- Measure, cut, drill and assemble materials accurately
- Complete quality checks throughout the build process
- Identify and report manufacturing or quality issues
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in vehicle bodybuilding, coachbuilding or commercial vehicle assembly
- Good practical and mechanical skills
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and take accurate measurements
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fabrication, fitting or assembly experience would be advantageous
