Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner (18+) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across all areas of the gym. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality cleaning services in a professional gym environment. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is advantageous, but not essential. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas of the gym, including changing rooms and back of house areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and other surfaces as required
- Ensure supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet roll are restocked
- Dispose of waste responsibly and replace bin liners
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and report any faults or damages
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security during cleaning tasks
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within allocated shifts
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Ability to lift light to moderate loads and stand for extended periods during shifts
