What We Are Looking For:
- Licence: Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (held for minimum [e.g., 1 or 2] years preferred).
- Cards: Valid Driver CPC, Digital Tacho, and RHIDES card (essential).
- Experience: Proven experience in container transport and port operations (Felixstowe port experience is highly desirable).
- Attitude: A safety-first mindset, reliability, and the ability to manage your nights out professionally.
- Compliance: Excellent knowledge of EU Driver Hours and Working Time Directives.
Your Daily Responsibilities:
- Transporting freight containers to and from the Port of Felixstowe and other major UK container terminals.
- Completing direct-to-customer container and trailer deliveries.
- Conducting thorough daily pre-drive vehicle and trailer safety checks.
- Ensuring all container pins are locked and loads are distributed safely and legally.
- Representing the company professionally at ports and delivery sites.
- Keeping your cab clean, tidy, and roadworthy.
Requirements:
- Note: This role requires nights out during the week. Please only apply if you are comfortable with regular nights away.
