As our Dental Hygienist/Therapist, you will play an important role in helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health while delivering an outstanding patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine hygiene appointments and periodontal treatment.
- Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments.
- Deliver treatment within the GDC Scope of Practice.
- Provide personalised oral hygiene instruction and preventative advice.
- Take dental radiographs where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical records using Dentally software.
- Work closely with our dentists and nursing team to provide exceptional patient care.
- Build lasting relationships with patients through excellent communication and professionalism.
- Maintain high standards of cross-infection control and clinical governance.
What We're Looking For
- GDC registered Dental Hygienist and/or Dental Therapist.
- Valid indemnity insurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, friendly and professional manner.
- Passion for preventative dentistry and patient education.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Experience within private dentistry.
- Knowledge of Dentally software.
- Experience with digital radiography.
