We are seeking a motivated and proactive Digital Systems Support & Training Officer (DiSSTO) to join our IM&T team, with a key role working on the implement ation of the Trusts Patient Engagement Portal .
This varied position combines systems administration, user support, and the design and delivery of high-quality training to ensure staff are confident in using digital tools that improve patient access, communication, and engagement.
You will play an integral role in the rollout and ongoing optimisation of the Patient Engagement Portal, working closely with clinical and operational teams to support implementation, drive adoption, and embed best practice.
The role involves provid ing Helpdesk and on-site support, contribute to system maintenance, data quality, and testing of upgrades, and act as a key link between end users, project teams, and technical colleagues. In addition , identifying training needs, developing engaging learning materials and delivering training through a blended approach. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication and organisational skills who is passionate about digital transformation and improving patient experience within a healthcare environment.
The Digital Systems Support & Training Officer will play a key role in supporting the Patient Engagement Portal Systems Manager, Senior Systems Officer, and wider project team.
You’ll be involved in User Acceptance Testing, feeding into the project team and will be involved with the Trust-wide rollout, delivering system administration, maintenance, as well as providing training and ongoing support to GMMH system users.
