Position is based in Cosby, Leicestershire
This is an in warehouse based role, working in our warehouse / office and the hours are:
Week 1: 11:00 - 20:00 Monday-Friday with no weekend shift.
Week 2: 09:00 - 18:00 Monday-Friday with a Saturday and Sunday shift. 2 days off in the week to be allocated to account for the extra 2 days worked. This rotates.
Vape.co.uk is a rapidly growing online vaping retailer that ships across the UK and all over the world. We are passionate about excellent service and improving people's smoke free journey, keeping things simple and offering a one stop destination for all types of vapers.
At Vape.co.uk we are a small but growing team with a mission. We are looking for a warehouse operative to assist with the processing and packing of e-commerce orders as well as booking stock inbound. No experience is necessary but we are looking for self-motivated, passionate people.
We're a young and fun team, looking for somebody to bring energy to the role, showcasing a keen eye for detail and a drive for success.
The main responsibilities and duties include;
- Picking and packing e-commerce orders
- Stock management / counting and booking in stock
- Maintaining a tidy and efficient workspace in the warehouse
- Meeting daily deadlines & picking stats
The ideal candidate: We’re looking for someone who can work in a very fast paced environment and work to a daily courier deadline. We need somebody who is highly organised with great attention to detail.
We hire personalities, not a CV! For that reason, you don’t need to have worked in a warehouse. Maybe you want to switch industries or careers, or you’re bored at your current job and want to be part of a fresh challenge.
Requirements:
- High organisation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in busy periods
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Reasonable IT skills (use of an e-commerce platform and courier dashboard)
- Reasonable physical fitness (restocking requires some bending and lifting) & you will be on your feet most of the day
