Mapcargo are excited to offer a varied and challenging role within our Air Export Team based in our Bradford office. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years freight forwarding experience and with strong customs and customer service background within an Airfreight export logistics environment, Have Proof of right to work in UK. Salary dependant on experience.
As one of the UK's fastest growing independent freight companies, our customer focused export team service a broad range of clients, from major global brands through to UK independent exporters. As part of this team, the main requirements & responsibilities of the role include:
- Fully compliant Export Airfreight Operations
- Day to Day responsibility for customer service delivery to Air export customers and agents
- Raising and completion of industry documentation from start to finish and submission of Customs export Declarations
- Liaising with airlines, customers and suppliers
- Follow up and resolve all any operational issues / customer service concerns raised by the customer
- Processing of quote requests received from clients and partners
- Managing Implementation for new business
- Commercial pricing and shipment planning
- Invoicing and Job Costing of export files
- Monitoring and updating of airline schedules and post flights
- Identify areas of operational improvement by reviewing process regularly
- Contribute to ongoing operational development and cost saving measures
- Ensuring accuracy of Export and Import entry declarations through self-auditing
- Internal office administration duties
- Establish, Manage and Maintain Internal and External Relationships.
In addition to relevant industry based experience, we expect candidates to be a confident and have a well-spoken approach to working with colleagues and clients alike. Ideally with administration and experience within an Export operations environment.
Enhanced skills with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook are a distinct advantage, as would be the experience of using Industry platforms incl HMRC entry and port specific systems.

Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
