Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Saturday Boxercise Coach to lead engaging and motivating fitness sessions during term time to 5-11 year olds. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to inspire participants of all ages and skill levels through dynamic boxing-inspired workouts. As a vital part of our community-focused team, you will deliver high-quality coaching that promotes fitness, confidence and well-being in a lively, supportive environment. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, sports coaching experience, and a passion for teaching others to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver fun, safe, and effective boxercise classes tailored to different age groups and abilities.
- Motivate participants to achieve their fitness goals through energetic coaching and positive reinforcement.
- Ensure all sessions adhere to health and safety standards, including proper warm-up and cool-down routines.
- Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Maintain a welcoming environment that fosters confidence, enjoyment and team spirit among attendees.
- Manage equipment setup, cleaning and storage before and after each session.
- Communicate effectively with participants, parents (if applicable)and team members to ensure smooth session delivery.
Requirements
- Proven sports coaching experience, preferably with boxing or fitness classes.
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage diverse groups of participants.
- Excellent communication skills to motivate and instruct effectively.
- Ability to lead energetic sessions while maintaining safety standards.
- Enthusiasm for promoting health, fitness, and positive lifestyle choices.
- Flexibility to work on Saturdays during term time only.
- Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications are desirable but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is valued.
Pay: £15.00 per hour
