This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting who is looking to develop their career. No formal childcare qualifications are required, as full training and support will be provided, along with the opportunity to gain recognised Early Years qualifications while you work.

The Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you will support the nursery team in providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the daily care and wellbeing of children within the nursery.
- Assisting with fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities to encourage children's learning and development.
- Helping to create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment where every child feels valued.
- Supporting children's individual needs while encouraging confidence and independence.
- Assisting with mealtimes, personal care and daily routines.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health & safety throughout the nursery.
- Supporting the team to ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are maintained at all times.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide outstanding childcare.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool or other Early Years setting.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- A caring, enthusiastic and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A willingness to learn and develop within the Early Years sector.
- The legal right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
No formal Early Years qualification is required for this role. This position is ideal for someone who already has some hands-on nursery experience and would like the opportunity to build a long-term career while gaining recognised childcare qualifications.
