Make a real difference in a specialist surgical service
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Plastic Surgery team, on a 12 month fixed term basis to cover maternity leave, at West Suffolk Hospital as a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) .
We are looking for a motivated, compassionate and ambitious registered nurse with excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. This is an excellent opportunity to develop advanced specialist knowledge within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Our Plastic Surgery department is a friendly and highly respected service comprising four Consultant Plastic Surgeons and one Surgical Care Practitioner (SCP) , working collaboratively to provide expert care for patients across West Suffolk and the surrounding region.
As our Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will become an integral member of the team, providing expert clinical advice, coordinating patient care, supporting patients and their families throughout their treatment journey, and contributing to the ongoing development of the service.

Adult and paediatric community services, provided in collaboration with West Suffolk Alliance partners, include a range of nursing, therapy, specialist, and ongoing temporary care and rehabilitation, some at our Newmarket Community Hospital.
