Working throughout the UK rail network, CPMS provides a diverse range of services including – station platform construction, maintenance and refurbishment works. We also undertake bridgeworks, station roofs and canopies. Building maintenance and refurbishment is carried out in stations, depots, signal boxes, lineside buildings, arches, carparks and roadways. We currently undertake PPM and reactive maintenance tasks as well as Civils, HVAC works and M&E services. Our clients include Network Rail, Train Operating Companies, Freight Operating Companies, Heritage Railways and Light Rail.
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a fully-qualified HVAC Engineer to join our team, based out of our Head Office in Elderslie, with daily travel throughout Scotland.
Reporting to the PPM Manager, the successful candidate should be a qualified HVAC Engineer and will be responsible for undertaking maintenance, installation and reactive works for our main clients,.
Role Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
- Carrying out both PPM & Reactive works for all our clients
- Servicing, fault find diagnosis, reactive repairs and attending breakdowns, to a wide range of air conditioning systems including VRV’s, VRF’s, small split/multi-systems and associated ancillary plant and equipment, including AHU’s
- Keeping up to date with current legislation and adhering to this at all times
- Liaising with line manager, regarding status of jobs
- Providing competitive quotes to clients with, cost effective solutions
- Ensuring work is executed and completed to a professional/acceptable standard and within given timescales
- Complying in accordance with Health & Safety regulations at all times
- Ensuring you are complying with PPE company standards
- Satisfactory completion and submission of weekly job/timesheets,
What we are looking for
Essential:
- Time served Air Conditioning Engineer
- Skilled in Carrying out all aspects of air conditioning service and maintenance
- Ability to work alone, or as part of a team
- IT Knowledge (particularly Microsoft Packages)
- Driving licence.
Desirable:
- Experience working within the Rail industry
- Valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) card.
