The Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a First Team Goalkeeping Assistant and Transition Coach to join us at Burnley Football Club. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Club’s ongoing development and helping us deliver a first-class experience for players, staff, and supporters.
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience in the development of players within the Professional Development Phase to promote through to the first team. The role also supports the first team’s coaching staff as well as providing the lead link for goalkeeping in the Academy.
You will also need to have a flexible approach to work and be able to work evenings and weekends.
Role Expectations
As the First Team Goalkeeping Assistant and Transition Coach, you will be expected to:
- Develop and maintain a positive learning environment to maximise each players development.
- Document, track, and measure player development within the PDP.
- With use of research and modern methods, help create a vibrant, progressive culture within the department.
- Document session planning and evaluation using the Performance Management Tool.
