Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced pre-school manager to lead our early years setting, creating a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where children can thrive. The successful candidate will be a confident leader with a strong understanding of early childhood development, capable of supporting and motivating a dedicated team whilst ensuring the highest standards of care, learning and safeguarding. You will play a key role in shaping our curriculum, building positive relationships with families and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Duties
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS
- Provide a safe, stimulating environment for all children
- Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Observe, assess and track children's progress
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, and safety
- Plan team meetings, training and continuous improvements
- Work with the pre-school committee trustees
- Manage staff and their training
Essential Experience
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent, or higher)
- Level 2 in Maths (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong understanding of
- EYFS
- Minimum of 2 years working in an early years setting
- Excellent communication and administrative skills
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
