Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research on various women’s health topics, ensuring accuracy and relevance
- Write clear, compelling, and well-structured animation scripts tailored to target audiences
- Analyse scientific data and clinical research findings to inform content creation
- Summarise complex medical information into accessible language for a general readership
- Collaborate with editors to refine content and adhere to style guidelines
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in women’s health and medical research
Requirements
- Science background (ideally MSc) in relevant women's health topic
- Proven experience in writing about women’s health, medical topics, or related fields
- Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies and data analysis skills
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret scientific studies and translate findings into engaging content
- Ability to review research papers and conduct independent research with attention to detail
- Exceptional written communication skills in British English
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Previous experience working as a freelance writer is preferred but not essential
- A passion for promoting women’s health awareness through informative content
Pay: £25.00-£35.00 per hour
