Electrical Qualified Supervisor (QS)
£40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Qualified Supervisor to manage the quality, compliance and certification of our Solar PV and battery storage installations.
The role will be predominantly office based, overseeing our electrical installation teams, reviewing installation photographs and test results, completing and managing electrical certification and providing technical support to our on-site engineers.
Key responsibilities:
- Review installation photographs, test results and commissioning information
- Complete, review and manage EICs and associated electrical certification
- Ensure installations comply with the latest version of BS 7671
- Manage and support electrical installation staff
- Provide technical assistance to engineers
- Carry out quality and compliance checks
- Undertake periodic site inspections and electrical audits
- Assist with Health & Safety and installation standards
- Provide technical support where required
The position is mainly office based, with occasional site visits required to inspect completed work, undertake audits or provide technical assistance.
Required qualifications/experience:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation/Electrotechnical qualification
- 18th Edition
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or accepted equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of BS 7671
- Experience completing and reviewing EICs
- Electrical supervisory experience
- Previous NAPIT/NICEIC QS experience highly desirable
- Solar PV and battery storage experience desirable
- BPEC Solar PV qualification desirable
