Wrangle Primary Academy, we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Cleaner to help with the upkeep of the school.
Wrangle Primary Academy is a small school with a big heart! We are proud of our traditional small school values and our family ethos. We strongly believe in giving children the opportunity to develop their talents and skills through different activities, including swimming in our fabulous swimming pool.
We are looking for a cleaner to work 6.25 hours per week term time only (1 hour 15 minutes per day). 4.15pm – 5.30pm.
Cleaner
Follow daily cleaning schedule to keep school site clean and tidy alongside other staff.
Cleaning, washing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and vacuum cleaning of designated areas to the required standard.
Emptying litter and recycling bins, etc, and removing waste to designated areas.
Cleaning of toilets and washrooms to the required standard.
Person Specification:
The post holder should have an understanding of Health and Safety contained in the Guidance Booklet for Cleaners.
Safe working methods to be used in accordance with COSHH assessments for hazardous substances.
Is reliable and wants to be part of our school community.
Will take pride in our school through daily cleaning.
Is willing to take on the role of key holder with daily locking and unlocking of the school when required.
Ideally has previous experience of cleaning.
Have the ability to work under own initiative without supervision
Be aware of the importance of providing a quality service and satisfying the cleaning requirements of
the school.

Fluency Duty
