Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items in accordance with company standards and food safety regulations
- Assist customers with their orders, providing friendly and efficient service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including the kitchen and customer service counters
- Restock supplies and ensure that all products are presented attractively
- Upsell additional items to maximise sales opportunities
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth store operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or working within a restaurant environment is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock management are required
- Experience in serving customers or working in a fast-paced kitchen setting will be beneficial
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively
- Culinary experience or kitchen background can be an asset but is not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude at all times
Pay: £12.21-£17.52 per hour
