What you’ll be doing
You’ll be a key face of The Hertsmere, helping golfers of all abilities have the best possible experience from the moment they arrive.
- Welcoming golfers and assisting with tee time check-ins and starter duties
- Keeping the driving range running smoothly: ball collection, range setup, and Toptracer assistance
- Supporting golf day events, societies, and competitions
- Ensuring the course, range, and practice areas are immaculate and ready for play
- Assisting in the golf shop with retail sales, bookings, and enquiries
- Being a friendly, knowledgeable ambassador for everything The Hertsmere has to offer
Who we’re looking for
You don’t need to be a scratch handicapper, but a genuine interest in golf and a warm, can-do attitude go a long way here. We’re especially keen to meet people who:
- Enjoy working outdoors and with the public
- Take pride in delivering a great guest experience
- Are reliable, hardworking, and happy to muck in as part of a team
- Are available at weekends and during peak periods (we’re a 7-day-a-week venue)
- Have some customer service or hospitality experience but we’ll happily train the right person
