We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our professional hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout guest rooms and public areas, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas in accordance with hotel standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
- Ensure all surfaces are dust-free and floors are vacuumed or mopped thoroughly
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and housekeeping carts
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous hotel experience or janitorial experience is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards guests and colleagues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- A positive approach to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
