Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team in creating delicious coffee and providing exceptional customer service in our bustling café.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea and iced coffees
- Assist customers in choosing beverages and pastries, taking orders, and handling payments
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Maintain cleanliness of the café, including the service area and seating areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
- Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons in a friendly manner
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista is required
- Proficient in making a range of coffee drinks and beverages
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and hygiene practices
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Barista experience: 2 years (required)
