Responsibilities
- Provide personalised, person-centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes.
- Assist with daily living activities while encouraging choice, dignity and independence.
- Build positive, trusting relationships through encouragement, empathy and emotional support.
- Encourage the development of life skills, confidence and social engagement.
- Maintain accurate, clear and timely records.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and other professionals to ensure consistent support.
- Follow safeguarding procedures, company policies and health and safety guidance at all times.
- Help create a safe, respectful and supportive environment for the people we support.

Experience
Experience in a care or support role is desirable. This may include supporting people within residential care, supported living, family assessment services, mental health services or learning disability services.
Experience supporting individuals with autism, behaviours that may challenge or complex needs would also be beneficial, although not essential.
Relevant qualifications are welcomed but not essential, as full training and ongoing development will be provided.

Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
